We recently stayed at a charming local home in a neighborhood outside the city center. The location was perfect, as it was very close to the beautiful Rocky Cay beach and provided easy access to the city center at night. The room we had was comfortable and clean, with a cozy bed and a well-maintained bathroom. The hosts, Rosa and Hernan, were incredibly welcoming and helpful, providing us with valuable information about tours and local restaurants. The breakfast served each morning was delicious, giving us a taste of the local cuisine. The home had a lovely atmosphere, with hammocks and couches where we could relax and enjoy our lazy days. It truly felt like a home away from home.
One minor drawback was that the shower took a while to warm up, but it was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise wonderful stay.

I had an incredible time at this wonderful hostel, feeling like it was my second home! The location was perfect, away from the crowds and close to beautiful beaches and great restaurants. The staff, especially Hernan, Rosa, and Kevin, were incredibly helpful and always there to assist with anything I needed. It was truly one of my favorite places I've stayed at during my travels.
The breakfast selection could have been improved a bit.

I had an incredible experience at Big V Raizal Home in San Andres. From the moment I arrived, I felt like a member of the family. The hosts were welcoming and made me feel right at home. I loved getting to know the Raizal community and learning about their history and culture. The hostel itself was comfortable and located within walking distance of beautiful beaches. The breakfast was delicious and the kitchen was well-equipped. my stay was enriching and unforgettable.
The only drawback was the lack of internet connection, but it allowed me to disconnect and fully immerse myself in the local experience. Additionally, the location was a bit far from downtown, but it was worth it for the authentic and off-the-beaten-path experience.

My Christmas stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, treating me like family. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beautiful beaches and crystal-clear water. I also loved the fact that they offered a pick-up and drop-off service to the airport, making my arrival and departure so much more convenient. Plus, the delicious breakfast that was included in my stay was a great way to start my day.
There were a couple of minor drawbacks during my stay. there were quite a lot of mosquitoes, which made it a bit difficult to sleep.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home during our romantic escape. The breakfast each morning was delicious and varied, giving us a nice start to the day. We also appreciated the convenient location of the hotel, with easy access to the beach and nearby restaurants.
The noise level at night. There was a party going on outside on our second night, lasting until the early morning hours, which made it difficult to sleep.
